The In the Lead Program (ITL) is a leadership program based on the principles in the successful ttl2 program. It has been customised for more senior nursing and midwifery leaders and is delivered across 12 months.
The expected learning outcomes of the NMMPDP Program are that nursing and midwifery leaders will demonstrate improved knowledge and skills across the program topics, and develop skills as transformational leaders and that they are better able to support the objectives of the organisations for which they work. Participants are expected to enhance their skills as high performance leaders from both a systems and personal perspective and to be better equipped to manage their department/unit, their staff and themselves.
The Productive Leader framework includes three assessment tools which are used for evaluating improvement. There is also a self-assessment tool to measure participants’ improvement. In Workshop One, participants will develop metrics to use for measurement of their own improvement and outcomes.
